Some Sundays are just lazy. We go to church, the boys play outside, Andy watches football, and I play around in the kitchen. Homemade pretzels and fried zucchini! Yummy!

Happy Birthday Holly!!!

It’s Friday night, movie night here in our house and the boys chose Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. #2 comes out this weekend in the theaters and soon we will go see it… :). They love this movie!

This morning we had Matty’s PreK curriculum coffee. Mrs. Fruit and Mrs. Depew gave us a run down of the children’s day, we even had to dance and make an elephant craft… 🙂

This is what happens on the way to school when your child stays up late to read a book and you don’t know about it! Apparently, Davy was really into his Magic Treehouse 150 page chapter book on the Titanic. Andy was excited for him that he wanted to read it, I however felt differently!

A tropical storm has moved in for the next couple of days and as Papa says, “It’s not raining buckets it’s raining sheets!” Now this is a perfect opportunity for me to break out my rainboots!

One of our favorite things to do on a Satudray morning is to find new breakfast places. We were in the mood for a little Cuban toast so we headed over to East Tampa to Brocato’s. They are famous for their deviled crab and we couldn’t resist. Afterwards, we headed down to Papa’s to hang out and cook up some ribs for his birthday :)!

I was walking by Davy’s classroom to go pick him up from piano when I spotted his goal for this year. Each child had a goal and most all of them were different. I loved Davy’s because he has been committed to working hard on his reading this year and we are so proud of him…
