This afternoon we met up with Mark, Karen, Adley, Bryce and Lad, Katie, and Isaac at the Ray’s versus the Royal’s game. Our boys love baseball and cotton candy :). The crazy thing that happened at this game, a ball came off of the bat and bee lined for the pitcher and as he turned to avoid the ball it struck him in the head just above his ear going 112 miles per hour….ouch! He was later reported to be fine and the Ray’s won the game!

For the last go see of the year, Davy’s Cub Scout Den decided to go and see the Tampa Bay Water Ski team. Fortunately for us, they are located right here in Oldsmar. The weather was cloudy and perfect after the scorching day we had. All of the boys just loved the show!

So, I’m laying in bed Sunday morning and Davy comes running into my room and says, “You need to get up, get dressed, pour some coffee, and come outside! Today is a special day because Matty is learning to ride his bike with no training wheels!” Sure enough, all three of them are outside at the crack of dawn with Matty’s training wheels off and he is gliding down the driveway. He did a great job and by the end of the morning he was riding it by himself. I took a short video and we cheered him on. He’s almost ready to ride on two wheels full-time, he just needs his legs to get a little longer for better balance when he puts his feet down… 🙂 Awesome job Matty bear!
Davy loved baseball practice tonight because his team scrimmaged Caiden’s team. 🙂 Here is Davy running past Caiden on first base.

We are getting ready to sprinkle Rochelle as her due date for baby Eli is fast approaching. Although we are giving her a ton of things for the baby, I thought that it would be nice to give her something just for her. I had asked her what her favorite colors are and she said pink and teal. I picked this pattern because it is simple and looks great when you only have two main colors.

Wednesday is the only day of the week that we usually do not have some type of after school activity. We are home by 3:30 and the boys get to play all afternoon. Here we have Tanner, Bradley, Davy, Matty, and Molly swimming in the pool.

CUB SCOUTS OF PACK 46:
It is one of your favorite times of year as a cub scout…..DESSERT DERBY returns at our next pack meeting on Tuesday, April 23 at 7PM. Each scout is asked to use their baking talents (with adult supervision) to create a unique cake from one of the listed categories. Bring your cake and an empty stomach to the meeting. The cakes will be judged by the cub scouts with a winner in each category, a best of show, and a do it yourself award. The do it yourself award is special because that is the cake, voted on by the boys, that is truly done by the child himself. After the winners have been announced, everyone will get to sample the cakes. The categories are listed below. Have fun choosing and creating your cakes!!!!

For Mom’s birthday, I told her that I would make her a quilt. I let her pick out the fabric colors, but I got to pick out the pattern. After looking at hundreds of patterns, I picked this one because I want it to remind her that I love her every time she sees it… 🙂
Davy went on a field trip today to Caladesi Island, so I thought that it would be fun to take Matty to the beach today as well. We went to Clearwater beach because they have a large beach playground. Matty had a great time playing, I love watching him smile….
