>Let’s go feed the ducks

Lakeland here we come! Davy, Michael and I decided to spend the day with Granny. Lake Morton, in downtown Lakeland is approximately one mile around and is known for a great spot to have picnics and to feed the ducks.

The day was beautiful. Azaleas are in bloom…spring is in the air. Davy and Michael laughed and squealed at the Swans, Mallard Ducks, white Ducks, Seagulls and other birds residing in the area. We brought along a loaf of bread, tore pieces off and threw them into the air. Both boys did a great job throwing the bread and they just loved it when the seagulls would swoop in for the bite.
